Police were called to a home on Forbell Drive on a report of a disturbance at 9:11 p.m. When officers arrived, the victim told them Richard Rivera, 44, came to visit a family member at the residence, police said.
During the visit, Rivera had a verbal argument with the victim that later became physical, police said. The victim became fearful due to Rivera’s actions and yelling, police said.
Officers contacted Rivera, who went to police headquarters where he was placed under arrest, police said.
Rivera was charged with criminal violation of a protective order and second-degree breach of peace. His bond was set at $10,000 with a court date of June 20, police said.
